Cinemateket
An unofficial app for Cinemateket, the Danish Film Institute's cinema in Copenhagen. It translates film descriptions into English and shows which screenings work for English speakers.
What the app can do
- Day by day
- The strip at the top shows every day with screenings. Tap one to jump to it.
- Filters
- Rooftop screenings at Himmelbio, events, English-friendly films and series. Children's screenings can be hidden.
- Search
- Searches screening titles.
- ČSFD ratings
- Films show their rating from ČSFD, the Czech-Slovak film database. Uncertain matches are marked.
- English translation
- Machine-translates Danish film descriptions into English. Tap Original to switch back to Danish.
- Saved screenings

- Every showing
- A film's page lists all of its screenings.
- Calendar
- Add a screening to your calendar straight from the programme.
- Tickets (Android)
- The ticket button takes you to the institute's ticket page.
- Works offline
